I Iove fall, especially Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the one time each year that my entire family sits down together at my Grandmother’s dining table for a meal. And because this only happens once a year, I try to make the table dramatic and memorable. Last year’s table was white and blush. In fact, last year, I styled four different tables that you can read about here. The blush table was one of my all time favorites; very feminine and outside the box for Thanksgiving. This year, I did a 360, having a mostly black color scheme. I love the look of a “non-traditional” Thanksgiving table so I decided to go with a Fall Goes Fornasetti theme.
Some of you are probably wondering what or who is Fornesetti? Piero Fornasetti was an Italian artist who saw a picture of a woman named Lina Cavalieri in a magazine. He was so infatuated with her, he created over 500 different versions of her face. Can you even imagine having someone that obsessed with your face?
